There are no cat parks in the United States!
It’s astonishing that the United States, a nation renowned for its love of pets, lacks even a single cat park. What could be holding America back from providing this basic amenity for its furry feline friends?
What to do with 60 million stray cats in the United States?
The United States is failing to address the cat overpopulation.
First and foremost, strict cat ordinances are simply not effective in reducing cat overpopulation. Studies have shown that such ordinances do little to deter people from owning multiple cats. In some cases, they can even lead to an increase in the number of stray cats.
Secondly, strict cat ordinances are unfair and discriminatory towards responsible cat owners. Cat ownership ordinances ignore home size and owner capabilities. Punishing these responsible individuals does not address the underlying causes of cat overpopulation and merely creates unnecessary hardship for cat owners.
The government should focus on developing comprehensive and compassionate solutions that address the root causes of cat overpopulation. This includes increasing access to affordable spay and neuter services, supporting Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs for feral cats, and educating the public about responsible cat ownership. By working together, we can create a more humane and effective approach to managing cat populations and ensure that all cats have a chance to live happy and healthy lives.

My Herd
In my personal space, I am fully aware about the local regulations regarding cat ownership. For the past eight years, I have been meticulously crafting a haven for my cats within my home, ensuring their well-being and happiness.
To ensure a harmonious and safe environment for my community, I have taken proactive steps to prevent any potential complaints. I have restricted my cats from roaming freely, as this could lead to harm for birds or inconvenience others. Confident in my abilities, I believe I can manage my cats responsibly without posing any health risks. I will remain steadfast in my stance and continue to pursue my passion.
