The black background is like a blank canvas that makes the eyes and faces stand out even more. It’s like the darkness is saying, “Hey, look at these amazing eyes and faces! They’re the real stars of the show.” And it works! Without all those distracting colors and patterns, the eyes take center stage. You can really see how expressive they are. Every gaze tells a story. Each tiny movement of the iris reveals the emotions and thoughts of the cat behind the eyes.

But that’s not all! The lack of color also helps you focus on the body language of the subjects. Without all those bright colors distracting you, you can really see the way they’re moving and gesturing. This helps you understand what they’re feeling and what they’re trying to say, even if they don’t say a word.

So, the combination of the black background and the expressive eyes and body language creates a really powerful visual experience. It’s like you’re invited to connect with the subjects on a deeper level. You start to understand them better and feel what they’re feeling. It’s a pretty cool effect, and it’s all thanks to the magic of black and white.

Violet is Black

She walks with a slight bow in her legs. Her short tail moves rhythmically. Her soft, luscious fur invites cuddles, and she enjoys being petted while she rests comfortably on your lap. If you think you can give Violet a loving home, please apply for adoption online at MissoulaAdvocats.org.

Broken Leg is Black

Stuck with the apt moniker “Broken Leg,” this black foster cat, like Violet, originates from the same colony. Her striking tuxedo pattern, along with her adorable white whiskers and toes, sets her apart. Despite arriving with an unbending leg, she refuses to be hindered by it. In her breadloaf position, her rear leg stands out prominently. It sits beside her two front paws. This makes the name “Broken Leg” a fitting one. She is ready for adoption. Fill out an adoption application on MissoulaAdvocats.org online if you think you are the right match for her.

Wolfie the Wobbly is Black

Wolfie is now 2. ( Smooches and Scratches From a Black Cat) Wolfie is a beautiful black cat. As long as Wolfie lives, he will forever hold a special place in my heart as my one-of-a-kind black cat. I affectionately call him “Pops,” a fitting name for this sleek, nine-pound feline with a lustrous black coat.

Wolfie’s Recent Update

Recently, Wolfie experienced a worrying episode. He displayed excessive salivation that lasted a full day. I promptly scheduled an appointment with Dr. Scott Jackson at Animal Blessings. Dr. Jackson conducted an examination and ordered bloodwork, which thankfully showed normal results. To alleviate Wolfie’s nausea, Dr. Jackson administered an injection, leading to his quick recovery.

Regarding Wolfie’s cerebellar hypoplasia condition, I earlier mentioned to the veterinarian that he often arches his neck. This causes it to become rigid for a short duration.

Dr Jackson suggested that Wolfie has opisthotonus, the arching of the neck. The episode have caused the seizure. Dr. Jackson prescribed a compounding anti-seizure medication.

I’m grateful that Wolfie is healthy. At times, I feel a wave of guilt wash over me. It leaves me with a lingering feeling of inadequacy about the care and attention I give to my dear companion. Wolfie uses a wheelchair, but his rear legs do not adapt well to it. I am actively seeking assistance with hydrotherapy, a therapy that can help relax and rehabilitate his rear legs. Unfortunately, there are no hydrotherapy facilities in our town. I believe that this therapy significantly improve Wolfie’s comfort in the wheelchair and potentially even enhance his walking ability.

Black is beautiful!

The color black emphasizes the eyes and facial features, making them visually prominent. This allows for more pronounced expressions. Additionally, when one’s attention is not focused solely on faces, the body language and expressions become more noticeable.
